Evolution Music Conservatory

Since 2016 EMC has provided an authentic music education to children and adults alike. Motivated by his passion to teach and share music, Donato opened the Evolution Music Conservatory after graduating from the Musicians' Institute and participating in several successful bands (Legs on Sale, Royal Heist, Dondo and the Mothership).

Donato created the EMC curriculum which both classically trains musicians and prepares them for successful careers in the industry. He teaches guitar, drums, piano, and bass as well as songwriting, recording, theory, harmony, sight-reading, and ear training.

Amy joined the school after earning her MFA in Creative Writing and working as an academic counselor. Inspired by EMC's vision and what it offers the community, she joined the team as a co-owner, managing the music school's daily administrative operations and participating alongside its talented staff. 

When Amy and Donato aren't writing or recording music, they are on campus at EMC working diligently to elevate their students' love and understanding of music. As parents themselves, it brings them profound joy to support their children in offering the special gift of a music education to the greater Los Angeles area.
